This two-story new build on a hill, featuring a masonry block retaining wall, was designed to create a modern, minimalist family home. The client’s vision was for a practical yet stylish space with clean lines and open areas. During the build, we encountered an issue with the gib, which became bumpy after painting, requiring a full reskim of the interior. Our team swiftly addressed the issue by refinishing the walls to achieve a smooth, flawless finish. The result is a stunning home that perfectly balances modern design with family functionality, despite the challenges along the way.
