Seaview

The Seaview Road project was an extensive renovation that transformed both the interior and the exterior of the property. The work included a floating deck for the guest house, a custom walkway connecting it to the main house, and extensions to the master and guest bedrooms for added space.

It took close engineering and architectural collaboration, including problem solving for structural issues and redesigns where they were needed. The highlights are the deck installations, the vertical privacy screens, the cladding work, the refinished oak flooring, significant drainage upgrades to prepare for a cobblestone driveway, and new boundary fences to finish off the landscape.

Materials

The exterior uses Shadowclad board and batten cladding with a cobblestone driveway and antique limestone pavers. Vitex decking outside, Reverso Grigio natural tile inside. The pergolas and fencing are supported by glulam posts and beams.

Special features

A cobblestone driveway, a walkway linking the main house and the guest house, and an enclosed loggia with recessed blinds and a glass roof that makes the space usable year round while keeping privacy and comfort.
