Privacy policy
How Taylor Projects and Solutions Limited collects, uses and protects your personal information, under the Privacy Act 2020.
Who we are
Taylor Projects and Solutions Limited is a building company based at 318 Aickin Road, Whangamatā 3620, New Zealand. You can reach us at info@taylorprojects.nz or on 021 047 9020.
What we collect
When you use the contact form on this site we collect your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message. If you become a client we also hold the information needed to run your project, such as your address, the site details and the correspondence between us.
We do not collect payment details through this website.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, to quote and run building work, and to keep the records a building company is required to keep. We do not use your information for anything you did not contact us about.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. That data is aggregated and does not identify you by name. Your browser can block or delete these cookies at any time, and the site will still work.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to do the work: with the architects, designers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and councils involved in your project, and with our own professional advisers. We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while they are live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Project records are kept for as long as the law requires, which for building work is a long time, and for as long as the Master Build 10-Year Guarantee runs.
Keeping it safe
Information is held in access-controlled business systems. Only people who need it to do the work can see it.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@taylorprojects.nz and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, tell us first at info@taylorprojects.nz. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this page. Keep an eye on it if it matters to you.
