A long-standing family bach, the Mills Home renovation was designed to give the property more space, comfort and functionality while keeping it ready for the busy Whangamatā summers it has always been known for.

The project includes an extension to create a larger master bedroom, complete with a new ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, along with an enlarged main bathroom to better accommodate a full house of family and guests.

The renovation also brings a brand-new kitchen and a complete refresh of the interior, including new flooring and wall linings, creating a lighter, more modern and cohesive feel throughout the home.

With plenty of people coming and going over summer, the focus has been on creating practical, durable spaces that work just as well when the bach is full as they do for everyday living.

The result is a refreshed family bach with more room to come together, more space to retreat, and everything needed for many more summers in Whangamatā.
